Chief Operating Officer (COO), Wind & Solar

The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to lead the development, execution, and performance of its wind energy portfolio in Vietnam. Responsibilities include overseeing projects from early-stage development through construction readiness, managing operational assets and contractors, and ensuring projects meet performance, safety, budget, and compliance requirements. The COO will guide project risk management, due diligence, investment evaluations, and portfolio growth, while coordinating with government and industry stakeholders on permits, licensing, grid connections, and commercial arrangements. The role also involves advising senior leadership, identifying market opportunities, and building and mentoring multidisciplinary teams. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related discipline, along with at least 15 years of experience in renewable energy, power generation, utilities, or infrastructure. A proven record delivering utility-scale energy projects and managing renewable assets is required, as is experience working with government and regulatory stakeholders in Vietnam. Applicants should understand project development, permitting, grid connections, power purchase agreements, construction, operations, and asset management. Strong strategic, commercial, negotiation, and team leadership skills are essential, along with fluency in Vietnamese and English.
