Managing Director, DCM

The Company is in search of a Managing Director / Executive Director with a focus on Debt Capital Markets (DCM) coverage and execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and driving the origination and execution of various debt capital market transactions, including G3 bonds, dim sum bonds, LGFV issuances, and structured debt offerings. This role demands the cultivation and management of senior C-suite and treasury relationships with a diverse range of clients, including corporate issuers, state-owned enterprises, and financial institutions across the region. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 years' experience in DCM, a proven track record in offshore bond issuances, and a deep understanding of global debt markets, credit structures, and regulatory guidelines. Applicants for the Managing Director / Executive Director position at the company should possess a Bachelor’s degree and hold a valid SFC Type 1 and/or Type 6 license, or be eligible to become a Responsible Officer. Full professional fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is essential for this role. The candidate must demonstrate exceptional leadership, client relationship management, negotiation, and strategic decision-making capabilities. Responsibilities also include overseeing deal structuring, documentation, credit analysis, and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role involves close collaboration with syndication, sales, and underwriting teams, as well as mentoring and managing junior and mid-level team members to maintain high standards of transaction delivery.
