Vice President, Post-trade Systems, IT Greater Hong Kong Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Post-trade Systems, IT, to lead the architecture and end-to-end delivery of mission-critical systems supporting cash-equity clearing, settlement, and risk capabilities. Responsibilities include managing developers, coordinating delivery across multiple workstreams and stakeholders, and ensuring secure, resilient, high-performance solutions throughout the software development lifecycle. The role also provides engineering leadership on modern backend practices and oversees production support, incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and ongoing system improvement. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related discipline, with at least 10 years of hands-on system design and development experience and three years in a management or technical leadership role. Strong Java expertise, including API design, concurrency, performance tuning, and production troubleshooting, is required, along with experience in microservices, containers, Kubernetes, and messaging or streaming technologies. Familiarity with DevOps toolchains, cloud-native patterns, and quality practices is valued; financial-services implementation experience is an advantage. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills are essential, as is the ability to lead diverse teams and deliver complex, mission-critical systems.
