Head of Financial Reporting

The Company is seeking a Head of Financial Reporting to oversee the financial reporting team in the Asia region. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the team to ensure timely and accurate account closures, as well as the preparation of periodic financial reports. This role also involves ensuring compliance with internal accounting standards, controls, and statutory requirements, and leading initiatives to simplify, standardize, and automate financial reporting operations. The Head of Financial Reporting will be expected to provide accounting advice on acquisitions, project structuring, and divestments, and to maintain strong relationships with external auditors and internal stakeholders on financial accounting and reporting matters. Applicants for the Head of Financial Reporting position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of experience in financial reporting, preferably with a background in MNC or a Big 4 firm. A degree in accounting or finance, along with relevant professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or equivalent, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading financial accounting and reporting activities, and experience in the oil and gas industry is considered an advantage. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is also necessary for this role.
