Associate Vice President, Cyber Security Engineering

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President, Cyber Security Engineering to strengthen proactive security capabilities and protect information assets. The role involves developing threat models, assessing security controls, and building tools for threat detection, configuration monitoring, and automated remediation. Responsibilities include managing security information and event management systems, creating threat-hunting and investigation queries, and improving detection use cases and monitoring practices. The successful candidate will help maintain security infrastructure and collaborate with incident response teams to identify and address threats. Candidates should have at least five years of experience in security engineering, security automation, or a related field, with hands-on expertise in SIEM and endpoint detection and response technologies. Strong knowledge of Active Directory security, Windows event collection, network security, and Windows Server and UNIX systems is required. Proficiency in PowerShell and Python, along with familiarity with cloud security principles, is also expected. Relevant industry certifications are desirable, and applicants must be authorized to work in the UK.
