Head of Data Engineering

The Company is seeking a Head of Data Engineering to lead the design, development, and optimization of a modern data platform as part of a broader data and AI modernization effort. This hands-on leadership role will oversee data ingestion, transformation, and provisioning, establish a medallion architecture, and set standards for moving data from raw through curated to consumption-ready layers. The successful candidate will mentor data engineers and collaborate with data product, analytics, and AI teams to deliver scalable solutions and semantic models that support business outcomes. Candidates should have experience building modern data platforms and leading platform implementations, ideally in asset management or professional services. Strong technical expertise in Snowflake, including Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Dynamic Tables, and Snowpark, is required, along with advanced SQL and Python skills. Experience with data transformation frameworks such as dbt is also expected. The role calls for practical technical leadership, sound architectural judgment, and the ability to establish effective engineering standards.
