Global Head of Procurement

The Company is seeking a Global Head of Procurement to lead its indirect and services procurement portfolio across multiple countries. The role will define and implement global procurement strategy, oversee category management, lead strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations, and establish consistent governance, policies, and standards. The successful candidate will manage and develop category teams, guide local buyers, and build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization. Key priorities include delivering measurable savings, reducing supplier risk, improving process efficiency and compliance, and reporting performance metrics to executive leadership. Candidates should have more than 10 years of strategic procurement experience, including direct accountability for large international spend portfolios, and a track record of leading teams in matrix organizations. Strong negotiation skills, commercial judgment, knowledge of procurement-related contract law, and experience designing governance frameworks are required. A degree in business, supply chain management, engineering, or a related discipline is expected; relevant professional certification is an advantage. Fluency in English is required, while German proficiency is beneficial. Applicants should also demonstrate collaborative leadership, cross-cultural communication, and the ability to deliver savings and operational improvements.
