Executive Director, Employer Engagement & Partnerships Greater Miami, FL Area

The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Employer Engagement and Partnerships to develop and lead strategies that connect employers with students and alumni for hiring and experiential learning opportunities. The role builds and manages partnerships across corporate, nonprofit, government, and healthcare sectors, creating pathways such as jobs, internships, co-ops, mentoring, and applied projects. The Executive Director coordinates with academic and career services teams, serves as a key employer contact, and uses labor-market insights and performance metrics to assess and improve partnership outcomes. Responsibilities also include advising senior leadership, representing the organization externally, and supervising staff responsible for employer relations and related initiatives. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; a master’s degree is preferred. At least eight years of progressively responsible experience in business development, strategic partnerships, employer engagement, workforce development, higher education, or a related area is required. Strong relationship management, communication, negotiation, project management, and organizational skills are essential, along with experience analyzing data and using CRM systems. The ideal candidate can build executive-level partnerships, collaborate effectively across teams, and develop strategic initiatives that expand hiring and experiential learning opportunities.
