Head of People Operations

The Company is in search of a Head of People Operations for Italy and Western Europe. This strategic role is pivotal in ensuring the effective delivery, governance, and continuous improvement of payroll, employee lifecycle, and people services activities across multiple countries in the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing payroll, time management, and benefits administration, ensuring accurate and compliant processing, and managing related escalations. Additionally, the role involves coordinating employee lifecycle processes, managing relationships with external service providers, and leading initiatives for process optimization and transformation. The Head of People Operations will also be a key player in regional and global collaboration, driving the adoption of global standards and contributing to international HR projects. Applicants for the Head of People Operations position at the company should hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, business administration, economics, or a related field, and have at least 8 years' experience in payroll, HR operations, shared services, or employee services. The role requires a strong understanding of labor legislation, payroll compliance, and employee lifecycle activities, as well as experience in HR transformation, process optimization, and service delivery management. The ideal candidate will have a background in managing multi-country payroll and employee administration processes, solid vendor management capabilities, and experience operating within complex, international, and matrix organizations. Proficiency in HRIS platforms, particularly within modern digital HR environments, and fluent English are essential. The candidate should also possess strong soft skills, including stakeholder management, organizational and project management, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement orientation.
