The Company is seeking an Executive Director, Head of Global Trial Optimization to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for global clinical trial optimization. The role leads and develops senior staff, oversees resources, budgets, processes, and high-priority programs, and ensures deliverables meet regulatory, business, and patient-focused standards. Responsibilities include guiding data-driven feasibility, recruitment, and retention strategies; managing portfolio risks and escalations; and strengthening investigator and site partnerships to support trial execution. The executive will drive continuous improvement, digital and analytics-enabled approaches, performance metrics, and collaboration across internal and external stakeholders. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in science or the arts; an advanced degree is preferred. At least 15 years of pharmaceutical clinical research experience, including work in the US and internationally, is required, along with knowledge of GCP/ICH and applicable regulations. The role calls for strong strategic judgment, risk-based decision-making, people leadership, resource allocation, communication, presentation, and stakeholder influence skills. Candidates should also bring experience in clinical trial operations, project management or site readiness, training and curriculum development, data analysis, and Microsoft Word and Excel; data modeling, process management, international collaboration, and continuous-improvement training are preferred.
