Senior Director, Senior Managing Counsel

The Company is seeking a Senior Director, Senior Managing Counsel to provide legal support across market infrastructure and financing activities, including clearing, collateral management, securities finance, custody, and settlement. The role will advise on complex products, strategic initiatives, and regulatory changes, while drafting and negotiating commercial and market-facing agreements. The successful candidate will partner with legal, compliance, risk, operations, technology, and business teams to support product development and business expansion. Responsibilities also include monitoring legal and industry developments, engaging with industry groups, and developing scalable legal support models. Candidates must hold a Juris Doctor and be admitted to practice in New York, with approximately 10 or more years of legal experience at a law firm or financial institution. Relevant experience should include collateral management, securities finance, custody, clearing, or related capital markets work, along with familiarity with standard market documentation and applicable securities, broker-dealer, and UCC frameworks. Strong drafting, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are required, as is the ability to manage competing priorities and stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings sound business judgment, collaborative leadership and communication skills, and an interest in emerging financial technologies.
