Vice President, Portfolio Manager, Asset Backed Lending Greater New York City, NY Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Portfolio Manager, Asset Backed Lending to assess new lending opportunities and oversee a portfolio of existing asset-backed and asset-reliant facilities. Responsibilities include conducting company and industry due diligence, analyzing collateral and financials, building financial models, identifying transaction risks and mitigants, and preparing credit memoranda and approval recommendations. The role also involves maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, supporting group projects, and ensuring compliance with operational risk controls and regulatory standards. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field. Experience in asset-based lending or general credit training is preferred, along with experience managing complex asset-reliant transactions. Strong planning, analytical, organizational, and communication skills are required. The successful candidate will work effectively in a team, build relationships with clients and stakeholders, and communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
