Chief Operating Officer (COO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to play a pivotal role in the next phase of its growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and further developing the operational aspects of the business across the Nordic region. This includes translating customer demand into operational excellence, uniting and developing operations in three countries, and ensuring the implementation of common standards and best practices. The COO will also be tasked with developing a strong team of Country Directors, regional managers, and salon managers, and building a culture that fosters quick and effective action based on insight. A key focus of the role is to build lasting customer relationships and to work closely with the CEO on initiatives for growth and business development. Applicants for the COO position at the company should have a proven track record in managing a business with multiple physical locations, preferably in a personnel-intensive sector. The role requires a leader who can demonstrate measurable improvements in productivity, staffing, and unit economics, and who combines a strong operational understanding with a commercial perspective. Experience in a Nordic, particularly Swedish, context is advantageous. The ideal candidate will be adept at using data, technology, and artificial intelligence to enhance operations and the customer experience, and will be a visible, non-prestigious leader who is equally comfortable in a management meeting and on the shop floor. The position is based in Oslo and involves travel within the Nordic region.
