Executive Director

The Company is in search of an Executive Director to lead its member-led base-building organization. The successful candidate will work closely with the elected board and a network of volunteers to enhance the organization's capacity, grow its resources, and expand its grassroots base. This role involves overseeing the creation and implementation of a new strategic plan, ensuring the financial health and administration of the organization, and supporting the team in achieving political and organizing goals. The Executive Director will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with partner organizations and elected officials, and for defining the organization's role within the broader left-progressive movement. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should be deeply committed to the values and theory of change of the organization, with a focus on building multiracial working-class power and solidarity. The ideal candidate will have experience in various organizing methodologies, a proven track record in resource development, and a strong ability to manage teams and organizational operations. Key qualifications include the ability to create and implement short- and long-term strategies, a comfort with new technologies, and a background in collaborative communication and conflict resolution. While not mandatory, experience in 501c3s, 501c4s, and PACs, as well as a background in community organizing and local fundraising, are highly valued.
