Vice President of Research & Development Greater Rishon LeTsiyyon, Israel Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Research & Development to lead its technology and engineering organization. The role includes setting the technical roadmap, growing and mentoring cloud and mobile development teams, and overseeing development processes, quality, releases, and delivery schedules. The VP will support customer and partner integrations, pilots, and technical discussions, while ensuring privacy and security are built into products and engineering practices. The position also involves reporting on progress, risks, and resource needs to senior leadership. Candidates should have proven experience leading R&D or engineering teams and a strong software engineering background, ideally with real-time, distributed, or cloud-based systems. Experience with mobile development, location-based technologies, GPS accuracy, sensor data, algorithms, predictive modeling, and AI-based software development is required. Applicants should be able to manage roadmaps, budgets, and delivery in a fast-moving environment, communicate effectively, and be fluent in English. A bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, engineering, or a related field is required; automotive, road-safety, SDK, and startup experience are advantageous.
