Tax Office Managing Director

The Company is seeking a Tax Office Managing Director to lead a 15-person office, develop the team, and grow its client base. Responsibilities include mentoring tax and support professionals, overseeing office operations, workflow, and deadlines, and remaining hands-on with tax compliance by preparing and reviewing individual, business, and trust returns as needed. The Managing Director will build new client relationships from leads and referrals and serve as a key contact for clients and the local business community. Candidates must hold a CPA or Enrolled Agent credential and have at least eight years of public accounting tax experience, including three or more years supervising staff. The role requires strong technical tax knowledge, a proven ability to build and develop teams, and confidence in business development and client-facing work. A practical, hands-on approach and the ability to manage competing priorities are essential.
