Vice President of Transportation

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Transportation to lead business development and strategic growth for its transportation practice. The role focuses on developing pursuit strategies, shaping proposals, and securing major projects rather than overseeing day-to-day project delivery. Responsibilities include building relationships with public- and private-sector clients and industry stakeholders, representing the practice at professional events, and advising leadership on market trends, pricing, and growth opportunities. The Vice President will also mentor transportation professionals in business development, client engagement, and industry positioning. Candidates must hold a PE or TE license and have at least 12 years of experience in transportation planning, traffic engineering, or consulting; AICP certification is preferred. A strong record of winning work, developing client relationships, and presenting to agencies, stakeholders, and senior decision-makers is required. Applicants should bring a credible industry network and knowledge of LOS, VMT, traffic impact analysis, signal timing, and environmental review requirements. Familiarity with transportation planning and analysis software is an advantage.
