Head of Accounting

The Company is in search of a Head of Accounting to oversee its Accounting and Tax department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of information to external auditors, ensuring timely and accurate responses to their requirements, and leading communication with regulatory entities. This role involves providing the necessary information for the validation of financial statements, coordinating meetings between audit specialists and internal users, and preparing financial statement presentations for the Board of Directors. The Head of Accounting will also be tasked with managing the review of the Management Letter, ensuring the implementation of controls, and maintaining an up-to-date shareholder registry. Applicants for the Head of Accounting position at the company should have a background in accounting, auditing, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in publicly traded companies. Advanced English proficiency, analytical and critical thinking skills, and the ability to plan and coordinate complex projects are essential. The role requires executive communication skills, agility, flexibility, and the ability to work under pressure. Experience in developing high-performing teams is desirable. The Head of Accounting will also be expected to lead and develop their team, promote accountability, and incorporate tools to enhance operational efficiency.
