Associate Vice President, Application Developer, Institutional Banking Group Technology, Group Technology Greater Singapore Area

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President, Application Developer for its Institutional Banking Group Technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end implementation of technical solutions that align with business needs, particularly in the area of trade finance. This role involves leading the systems development lifecycle, from planning and scoping to technical implementation, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions on time and within budget. The AVP will also manage the performance of technology suppliers and be a key player in solution design, problem-solving, and continuous improvement. Applicants must have a strong technical background with hands-on experience in a range of IT tools and technologies relevant to corporate banking operations. This includes proficiency in frontend, backend, and middleware technologies, as well as a solid understanding of corporate banking and integration with external partners. The role requires excellent teamwork, communication, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to analyze complex situations and drive process improvement. Experience in project management, SDLC processes, and testing methodologies is essential, along with proficiency in documentation and the Microsoft Suite. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and have a proven track record of upholding integrity, demonstrating leadership, and being adaptable in the face of change.
