Vice President, APAC Data & AI Compliance & Operational Risk Management Greater Singapore Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President for APAC Data and AI Compliance and Operational Risk Management. The successful candidate will be instrumental in shaping the integration of responsible data and AI practices within a rapidly evolving regulatory framework. This high-impact role involves influencing controls, evidence, and outcomes related to AI, privacy, and data governance. The VP will work across various teams to translate regulatory expectations into practical oversight and actions, and will be responsible for providing independent oversight and credible challenge of compliance with relevant requirements. Key responsibilities include leading monitoring and testing reviews, supporting regulatory engagements, conducting risk and control assessments, and driving issue management. The role also requires the ability to stay ahead of emerging regulatory themes and proactively assess their impact. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 6 years' of experience in compliance, operational risk, technology risk, privacy, data governance, or AI risk management, preferably within financial services or a regulated industry. The role demands a strong understanding of data governance practices, AI/ML concepts, and privacy-enhancing techniques. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering risk or compliance reviews, supporting regulatory engagements, and the ability to influence outcomes through clear, risk-based guidance. Preferred qualifications include experience in a second-line compliance/operational risk model, hands-on experience in data/AI domain reviews, data analytics skills, and relevant certifications. Strong stakeholder management, communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.
