Head of Material Management

The Company is seeking a Head of Material Management to lead material support, logistics, warehousing, procurement, and spare-parts operations. The role oversees a team across multiple operational functions and monitors performance in cost, quality, delivery, inventory, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include implementing regional supply-chain strategies, developing replenishment plans, managing external warehousing and distribution partners, and overseeing import operations. The successful candidate will coordinate cross-functional improvements, manage supply-chain risks and departmental costs, build team capabilities, and ensure compliance with export-control requirements. Candidates should have experience in supply chain and parts-order administration, along with strong leadership skills in complex environments with uncertain demand. Knowledge of SAP order-administration processes, including warranty, spares, repairs, and management dashboards, is required, as is familiarity with the aerospace industry. The role calls for senior-level negotiation skills and the ability to influence stakeholders across regional and central teams. Business-level English and proficiency in Japanese are required; strategic vision and an understanding of organizational networks are preferred.
