Head of Power Project Development

The Company is seeking a Head of Power Project Development to lead the development of new renewable energy projects and the acquisition of operational assets. Responsibilities include managing project progress and risks from land acquisition, grid connection negotiations, and permitting through construction, as well as overseeing acquisitions from deal sourcing and due diligence to negotiation and completion. The role also involves building strategic partnerships, leading negotiations, developing team talent, evaluating investments, and collaborating across the business. The successful candidate will shape long-term strategies, manage departmental budgets, and identify new business and investment opportunities in response to market and technology developments. Candidates must have professional experience leading and managing a team. Experience in new project development or project acquisition is preferred, particularly in energy, renewable energy, real estate, construction, industrial projects, trading, or finance. Business-level Japanese is required.
