Senior Counsel

The Company is seeking a Senior Counsel with a focus on intellectual property strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the formulation and promotion of IP strategy, establishing in-house systems for idea invention and discovery, designing application policies and portfolios, and supporting product and new business development. This role also involves research on overseas intellectual property laws and regulations, as well as leading IP-related disputes and negotiations. The ideal candidate will have a significant background in patent practice, be a qualified patent attorney, and possess the ability to work in a global, flat, and collaborative environment. Applicants for the Senior Counsel position at the company should have a minimum of 7 years' experience in patent practice, with a proven track record in formulating and promoting IP and patent strategy. The role requires a leader in one of the key areas of IP management, such as invention discovery, patent application strategy, portfolio, or competitor analysis. A patent attorney qualification is essential, as is fluency in Japanese and business-level English.
