The Company is seeking a Head of Fixed Income Middle Office for Japan, a senior leadership role that is pivotal in the strategic management and oversight of all Fixed Income Middle Office functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence, leading a high-performing team, and ensuring strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This role demands a leader with extensive experience in Fixed Income Middle Office, Operations Management, or Trade Support within a global investment bank or major financial institution in Japan. The Head will be tasked with developing and implementing strategic objectives, driving post-trade processing for Fixed Income Securities and Derivatives, and managing the operational risk profile in compliance with Japanese financial regulations and global policies. Applicants must have a profound expertise in Japanese Fixed Income markets, products, and post-trade infrastructure technologies, as well as a strong understanding of operational risk management frameworks and the regulatory landscape in Japan. The role requires advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, fluency in Japanese, and strong business-level English. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, and be adept at influencing stakeholders at all levels. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with a Master's degree or relevant professional certifications being highly valued. The Head will also be expected to lead change management initiatives and strategic projects to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
