Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to provide visionary leadership through a significant period of transformation and organisational development. The CEO will lead modernisation efforts, strengthen systems, processes, accountability frameworks, and organisational capability, while maintaining a strong focus on public safety, regulatory excellence, and stakeholder trust. The role includes working with the governing council and supporting the implementation of a new leadership structure. The CEO will also balance strategic direction with operational delivery and build confidence across diverse stakeholder groups. Candidates should bring proven chief executive or senior executive experience in a regulatory, public sector, health, professional services, or similarly complex environment. They must have a track record of leading major transformation and system modernisation, strong governance capability, and experience working effectively with boards or governing councils. The role requires sound judgement, integrity, political acumen, and exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
