Head of Clinical Development, Immunology

The Company is seeking a Head of Clinical Development for Immunology and Inflammation. This senior leadership role is pivotal in driving the early clinical development of novel therapeutics, with a focus on Phase 1, 1b, and 2 studies. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing clinical strategies, leading the design and execution of clinical trials, and providing medical and scientific leadership across all clinical and regulatory documentation. Close collaboration with the CEO and cross-functional teams is essential, as is the ability to make critical decisions based on emerging data. The role also involves supporting interactions with health authorities, KOLs, and external experts, and contributing to the overall development strategy of the company. Applicants for this role should have advanced scientific or medical training, with a preference for medical training, and at least 4 years' of clinical development experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry. A strong background in early clinical development, particularly in Phase 1 and 2 trial design and execution, is required. Experience in immunology and inflammation, or related fields such as dermatology, rheumatology, allergy/immunology, gastroenterology, or hematology, is highly valued. The ideal candidate will have a practical, entrepreneurial, and hands-on working style, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced biotech environment. Strong communication skills in English are a must, and proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage for those supporting clinical execution in China.
