Head of Risk Management

The Company is seeking a Head of Risk Management to lead and develop its corporate risk management offering. The role involves setting the strategy, leading an established team, and shaping advisory services for large and complex corporate customers. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues across broking, claims, and placement to embed risk management in customer relationships, insurance programme design, retention, and new business. They will also advise senior customers on complex risks and help strengthen the function’s commercial impact. Candidates should bring significant experience in corporate risk management, risk engineering, loss prevention, or specialist risk advisory, along with a record of developing teams, technical capability, and service offerings. Strong commercial awareness, strategic thinking, and credibility advising senior customers are essential, as are established relationships across the insurance and risk management market. Experience with an insurance broker is advantageous; senior professionals from insurer or consultancy backgrounds will also be considered.
