Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The Company is seeking an Interim Chief Financial Officer to provide strategic financial leadership during a period of change. Working with executive and board-level colleagues, the CFO will shape financial direction and ensure robust planning, governance, and commercial insight support decision-making. Responsibilities include overseeing financial operations, strengthening systems, processes, and reporting, improving efficiency, and supporting a sustainable operating model. The role will also help improve financial performance, build organizational resilience, and advance long-term strategic priorities. Candidates should bring significant senior finance leadership experience in a large, complex organization, ideally one operating across multiple sites, and be confident working with executive teams and boards. A strong record of leading financial transformation, organizational change, and performance improvement is required, alongside strategic and commercial acumen. Applicants should have experience developing financial strategies, long-term plans, and sustainable operating models, as well as sound knowledge of governance, risk, and regulatory requirements. A collaborative, empowering leadership style and the ability to build teams, communicate clearly, and influence stakeholders are essential; experience in a charity or other purpose-led or regulated environment is advantageous.
