Senior Vice President of Operations, Commercial MEP Contractor

The Company is seeking a senior operations executive to strengthen and scale a commercial mechanical, electrical, and plumbing contracting platform. The role will work alongside leaders across multiple businesses to identify operational challenges, implement practical improvements, and establish consistent standards. Key responsibilities include building workforce planning systems that align bookings and backlog with technician capacity, improving estimating and project management, and reviewing work-in-progress and job margins. The executive will also develop operational KPIs and routines, coach project managers and estimators, support margin improvement, and create repeatable processes for integrating acquired businesses. Candidates should have senior-level operations experience within a commercial MEP contractor or construction firm, ideally overseeing multiple business units or sites. A strong background in HVAC and plumbing, developed through the trades, field supervision, project management, or operations leadership, is required. Applicants should bring hands-on expertise in estimating, work-in-progress, forecasting, and margin management, along with a record of improving or growing a business and earning the trust of operating teams. Experience with acquisition integration, commercial service, or replacement work is advantageous.
