Vice President of Engineering

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Engineering to establish and lead its US technical organization and support deployments for US defense customers. The role combines hands-on technical execution—including deployments, exercises, demonstrations, integrations, and troubleshooting—with building repeatable delivery processes and defining the US reference architecture. The VP will translate customer and field feedback into engineering priorities, oversee security and release-readiness reviews, and coordinate closely with global engineering teams. As the organization grows, the VP will recruit and develop technical teams and establish clear ownership, operating practices, and delivery accountability. Candidates should have a track record delivering complex technical programs for US Department of Defense customers and understand defense acquisition, security, compliance, and operational constraints. Required experience includes leading software deployments and systems integrations, making sound architecture decisions, and translating ITAR, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements into practical engineering practices. The role also calls for a security-first approach, experience setting roadmaps and review processes, and the ability to recruit and lead technical teams. Strong communication skills are essential for aligning customers, business leaders, and engineering teams; experience with integrated hardware and software, manufacturing readiness, sustainment, or technical partnerships is an advantage.
