Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Remote (anywhere in Belgium) + 1 more

The Company is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer to lead security and compliance across its critical infrastructure operations. The role owns the security framework for IT and OT, assesses regulatory obligations, and manages compliance programs, audits, risk registers, policies, and incident reporting. The CISO will lead certification work, including extending an existing information security certification and establishing an industrial cybersecurity certification program. Responsibilities also include setting security requirements for suppliers and contracts, conducting vendor assessments, and working closely with technical teams to validate controls and address risks without unnecessarily slowing delivery. Candidates should have hands-on security leadership experience in a regulated industry or critical infrastructure and have personally run a security program. Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, security documentation, audits, threat modeling, network segmentation, secrets management, audit logging, and secure remote access is required. Technical credibility with cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, and industrial protocols is important, along with comfort working with operational technology and influencing teams without direct authority. Professional English is required; Dutch or German is an advantage.
