Head of Wholesale Banking Chief Operating Officer (COO), Transaction Services

The Company is seeking a Head of Wholesale Banking Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Transaction Services to set global operations strategy across Daily Banking, Client Services, and Trade. The role translates strategic priorities into execution across products, regions, hubs, and expert teams, while driving service performance, workforce planning, capability development, and scalable delivery. The successful candidate will ensure regulatory compliance and effective operational risk management, and embed AI-enabled approaches across operations. They will also lead and develop senior managers and coordinate a complex international stakeholder landscape. Candidates should hold a master’s degree in Economics or a comparable field and have at least 15 years of senior management experience. They need current, thorough knowledge of the COO agenda and strong expertise in Daily Banking, Client Services, and Trade. The role requires a proven ability to set strategy and deliver it across large, complex, globally distributed operations, alongside a transformation mindset and credibility as an AI adopter. Strong executive leadership, communication, stakeholder-management, and adaptability are essential, as is the ability to balance strategic direction, execution, risk, workforce, and product priorities.
