Interim Head of IT eCommerce

The Company is seeking a Head of IT eCommerce to oversee the reliable operation and continuous improvement of its global eCommerce technology estate while leading strategic transformation. Responsibilities include managing service health, performance, security, availability, suppliers, operational risk, and a prioritized pipeline of enhancements. The role will define the technology strategy, target architecture, and multi-year roadmap, and lead technology delivery for major transformation programs while protecting live-service stability. The successful candidate will also guide new capabilities into sustainable operations and advise business leaders on technology trends and opportunities for growth. Candidates should bring experience leading global IT teams in complex international organizations and implementing eCommerce solutions at scale, including knowledge of architecture and business capabilities. They should have led transformation programs, built agile DevOps teams, and balanced live-service accountability, continuous improvement, and large-scale change. Current knowledge of AI in eCommerce, familiarity with integrations and security across enterprise systems, and experience with eCommerce platforms are required; knowledge of SAP Hybris, Adobe Commerce, or Magento is advantageous. Strong leadership, communication, commercial and financial understanding, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders are essential.
