Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead its finance function and contribute to strategic business decisions. Responsibilities include developing the finance team, advising senior leadership on financial strategy and investment, and managing relationships with lenders, investors, and partners, including financing negotiations. The CFO will oversee budgeting, cash flow, working capital, investment analysis, and financial control, including project costs, margins, and performance indicators. The role also covers financial reporting, accounting and tax compliance, audits, and improving financial processes through automation and digital transformation. Candidates should have a degree in Management, Economics, Finance, or a related field, along with substantial finance experience, preferably in financial management. Experience in construction, engineering, real estate, or investment is desirable, as is a background in consulting or auditing. Applicants should bring experience negotiating financing, knowledge of Portuguese accounting standards and taxation, and a record of leading and developing teams. Familiarity with enterprise resource planning systems, professional accounting certification, and the application of automation or artificial intelligence to finance are advantageous.
