Head of IT Architecture & Cybersecurity

The Company is seeking a Head of IT Architecture and Cybersecurity to lead technology architecture and cybersecurity strategy for a regional aviation operation. Responsibilities include overseeing architecture activities, defining reference and domain architectures, maintaining the technology roadmap, and leading architecture reviews. The role also involves managing vendor delivery and compliance, partnering on technology investment planning, and advising senior leaders on security investments and risk. The successful candidate will drive cybersecurity programs and oversee threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response across public and private cloud environments. Candidates should have at least seven years of experience across IT architecture and cybersecurity, including three or more years in a leadership role, and experience in critical infrastructure or aviation. A bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field is required, along with a recognized architecture certification such as TOGAF. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements, including NIST, ISO 27001, Essential Eight, and SOCI, is essential. Experience with vendor governance, cloud strategy, technology roadmaps, risk management, and security controls is also required.
