Vice President of Finance & Accounting

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance & Accounting to oversee accounting functions across a complex, multi-entity real estate operation. Responsibilities include managing general ledger, receivables, payables, debt, equity, intercompany accounts, treasury, banking, and cash flow activities. The role leads and develops accounting staff, analyzes operating results, and provides actionable insights to senior leadership. It also ensures timely financial close and reporting under US GAAP, supports tax and audit processes, collaborates with operations teams, and helps integrate accounting processes for new locations. Candidates should have at least five years of vice president-level accounting experience and a required background in the real estate industry. Strong knowledge of general ledger, accounts receivable, fixed assets, payroll, intercompany accounting, sales tax, structured finance, and management reporting is essential. A bachelor’s degree in accounting is required; a master’s degree and/or CPA is preferred. Applicants should be proficient with office productivity tools and accounting or ERP systems, communicate complex financial concepts clearly, and bring strengths in policy development, process improvement, problem-solving, time management, and teamwork.
