Associate Vice President, Branch Manager

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President, Branch Manager to lead branch operations, sales performance, regulatory compliance, and customer service. Responsibilities include setting sales direction, coaching and developing staff, managing schedules and performance, resolving escalated issues, and ensuring adherence to operational and security procedures. The role also involves monitoring sales activity, reporting results, supporting employee training, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and the local community. The Branch Manager directly supervises employees, including assigning work, evaluating performance, addressing concerns, and participating in hiring and training. Candidates should have an associate degree or equivalent and at least five years of banking experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. They need extensive knowledge of teller operations, personal banking products, policies, and regulations, along with a record of effective leadership and sales achievement. Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills are essential, as are sound judgment, initiative, dependability, and flexibility. A bachelor’s degree and prior supervisory experience are preferred; the successful candidate must also obtain required NMLS registration and complete training.
