President of Construction

The Company is seeking a President of Construction to lead construction operations across multifamily development projects. The role is accountable for delivering projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and to high-quality standards while aligning operations with strategic goals. Responsibilities include leading multidisciplinary teams, establishing operational standards and safety practices, overseeing project planning and risk management from preconstruction through closeout, and monitoring schedules, budgets, and cash flow. The President will also guide procurement, subcontractor relationships, and contract negotiations, while supporting growth initiatives and continuous improvement. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred. At least 20 years of progressive leadership experience in multifamily construction, including large-scale developments, is required. Strong expertise in construction finance, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, contract administration, value engineering, and preconstruction is essential, along with experience in design-build, negotiated, and GMP delivery methods. The role also calls for familiarity with construction planning and project management software, and exceptional executive leadership, communication, negotiation, and team-development skills.
