The Company is seeking a Vice President of AI Data Engineering to shape strategy and lead delivery of trusted, governed, scalable data capabilities for its business insurance operations. The role includes setting multi-year portfolio priorities, building AI-ready data foundations and semantic layers, and enabling analytics, automation, machine learning, generative AI, and agentic analytics. The executive will lead a large technical organization, oversee portfolio performance and risk controls, and partner with business and technology leaders to connect data capabilities to measurable outcomes. They will also establish standards for data quality, governance, security, reliability, and responsible AI use. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; an advanced degree is preferred. The role requires at least 18 years of applicable experience and 10 years of progressive leadership, including responsibility for senior leaders, large technical organizations, or complex portfolios. Applicants should bring deep expertise in data engineering, enterprise data platforms, semantic and contextual data, cloud technologies, and AI-ready data foundations, along with experience enabling generative AI, retrieval-augmented generation, or agentic analytics. Strong business and financial acumen, executive communication skills, and experience managing budgets, workforce resources, and strategic vendors are essential; property and casualty or business insurance experience is strongly preferred.
