Vice President, Cloud Operations Greater Hong Kong Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Cloud Operations to lead the reliable, secure, resilient, and compliant operation of cloud platforms supporting business-critical applications. Responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day cloud operations, service health and capacity, platform lifecycle management, and incident, problem, change, and production-readiness processes. The role will guide backup, disaster recovery, and resilience testing, and drive the adoption of automation and Infrastructure-as-Code in partnership with engineering teams. It will also manage cloud service providers, report on operational performance and risks, and develop a collaborative team focused on service ownership and continuous improvement. Candidates should hold a university degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related discipline, and bring substantial cloud infrastructure or technology operations experience with leadership responsibility. Proven production support experience across enterprise cloud platforms and business-critical systems is required, along with knowledge of service management, observability, cloud security, networking, backup and recovery, vulnerability management, and platform upgrades. The role calls for a strong understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code, Terraform, CI/CD, automation, and Policy-as-Code, as well as experience partnering with engineering or SRE teams. Kubernetes, ITIL/SRE practices, regulated-industry experience, and relevant cloud, service management, or security certifications are advantageous; strong leadership, analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills are essential.
