Chief Administration & Development Officer

The Company is seeking a Chief Administration and Development Officer to provide executive leadership across fundraising, marketing and communications, government relations, human resources, and risk management. The role will shape strategies to grow philanthropic and public revenue, strengthen the organization’s brand and workforce, and advise executive leadership and the Board on organizational priorities and performance. Responsibilities include leading senior teams, developing talent and compensation strategies, overseeing compliance and risk programs, and building relationships with funders, government partners, and community stakeholders. The executive will also guide strategic planning, budgets, performance measures, and the responsible use of technology to improve organizational effectiveness. Candidates should have a master’s degree in a relevant field, or a bachelor’s degree with a relevant professional certification, and at least seven years of progressively responsible senior management experience, including five years in a supervisory role. A demonstrated record of strategic growth and experience leading at least two relevant functions—such as marketing, fundraising, government relations, human resources, or risk management—are required; nonprofit and multi-site experience are preferred. The role calls for enterprise-level strategic thinking, change-management expertise, financial and analytical acumen, and the ability to lead collaboratively and build accountable teams. Strong communication, relationship-building, judgment, and data-driven decision-making skills are essential, along with proficiency in relevant business systems and emerging technologies.
