Head of Data Platforms

The Company is seeking a Head of Data Platforms to lead the design, development, and delivery of a modern enterprise data platform. The role includes defining platform strategy and architecture, building and leading a high-performing data engineering team, and driving cloud migration and modernization. The successful candidate will establish governance, security, compliance, and data quality standards; manage technology partners; and develop an operating model for data engineering, analytics, and governance. They will also oversee the migration of reporting and analytics capabilities, retire legacy systems, and deliver measurable business outcomes. Candidates should have experience delivering enterprise-scale cloud data platforms from the ground up and leading large, multidisciplinary data engineering organizations, including managing managers. Strong expertise in cloud data architecture, platform design, governance, security, and compliance is required, along with experience in regulated environments. The role also calls for executive-level stakeholder management and the ability to oversee third-party suppliers and systems integrators.
