Trustee (Board-level role)

The Company is seeking a Trustee to help guide its strategic direction and strengthen its governance in support of displaced young people. Trustees share responsibility for ensuring the organization fulfils its charitable purposes, uses its resources appropriately, maintains financial stability, and complies with legal and regulatory requirements. They contribute to setting goals and policies, monitoring performance, safeguarding the organization’s values and assets, and supporting effective administration. Trustees may also contribute their expertise through a board working group or committee. Candidates should be committed to the organization’s mission and demonstrate teamwork, leadership, sound independent judgment, strategic vision, and effective communication. The role calls for fairness, impartiality, a commitment to equality and diversity, and the time and effort to participate actively in board responsibilities. Experience in fundraising, risk management, or organizational transition is particularly welcome, as is lived experience of forced displacement or relevant direct experience.
