Vice President of Finance

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance to direct day-to-day accounting operations and safeguard the accuracy and integrity of financial records. Responsibilities include overseeing the general ledger, reconciliations, payables and receivables, revenue recognition, grant administration, financial close, consolidation, and reporting. The role leads budgeting support, internal controls, compliance, audit coordination, and required tax and regulatory filings, while ensuring accounting practices align with applicable standards. The Vice President will also lead and develop the accounting team and provide reliable financial information and strategic support to organizational leadership. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree and CPA or equivalent certification are preferred. At least 10 years of progressive accounting experience, including controllership or senior accounting management, is required. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial statements, monthly close processes, and internal controls is essential; nonprofit accounting experience is preferred. Applicants should also bring team leadership experience, familiarity with accounting and ERP systems, advanced financial systems and Excel skills, and strong analytical, communication, and management abilities.
