Executive Director, Digital Assets

The Company is seeking an Executive Director and Senior Counsel to provide strategic legal and regulatory advice across financing, liquidity, collateral, and market infrastructure activities. Responsibilities include advising on complex transactions and new initiatives; negotiating and maintaining commercial and market-facing agreements; and supporting the development and launch of innovative products. The role also covers emerging areas such as digital assets, tokenization, stablecoins, distributed ledger technology, artificial intelligence, and digital transformation. The successful candidate will interpret evolving legal and regulatory developments, advise senior leaders, collaborate across business and control functions, and contribute to industry initiatives and scalable legal support. Candidates must hold a J.D. and be admitted to practice law in New York, with at least 12 years of relevant experience in a law firm, financial institution, fintech, market infrastructure, or digital asset setting. Significant experience advising on digital assets, tokenization, blockchain, or related financial technology is required, along with a strong understanding of securities laws, broker-dealer regulation, custody frameworks, and financial market infrastructure. The role calls for excellent drafting, negotiation, analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. Candidates should be able to provide practical, commercially minded advice amid evolving regulations and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
