Vice President of Operations

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Operations to connect organizational functions and advance operational plans for assigned clinical services. The role leads operational strategy, budgets, projects, workforce management, and performance improvement while aligning departmental goals with broader organizational priorities. Responsibilities include partnering with physicians and senior leaders, overseeing financial and business operations, strengthening quality and patient outcomes, and ensuring effective use of resources. The Vice President also promotes employee engagement, coordinates services across the organization, and maintains compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements. Candidates must hold a master’s degree in healthcare, business, or a related field and have at least seven years of progressively responsible leadership experience in a healthcare organization; academic health system experience is preferred. Required qualifications include success leading large-scale change, operational leadership in complex settings, strategic planning, business development, and significant budget responsibility. Candidates should be skilled at leading experienced teams, collaborating with physicians and senior leaders, and engaging diverse stakeholders. Strong planning, communication, prioritization, and resource-management abilities are essential; membership in a relevant healthcare management association or fellowship is preferred.
