Executive Director, Head of Operational Risk Management Greater Paris, France Area

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead operational risk management oversight for its European banking entity and branches. Responsibilities include directing risk identification, measurement, management, reporting, and governance; building relationships with senior stakeholders; and serving as the primary contact for regulators on operational risk matters. The role also involves monitoring regulatory developments and emerging risks, coordinating with regional and global risk teams, and representing the function in governance forums. The successful candidate will lead independent assessments, strengthen risk metrics and reporting, and drive operational efficiencies. A bachelor’s degree and relevant experience in corporate and investment banking, wealth management, operational risk, business operations, consulting, or audit are required. Candidates should bring extensive experience engaging with regulators and external parties, along with strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder-influencing skills. Proven leadership and people-management capabilities, including building high-performing professional teams, are essential. The role also requires the ability to adapt and deliver in a changing environment and to achieve results across legal entity, regional, and global teams.
