Vice President of Finance

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Finance to lead financial strategy and oversee accounting, treasury, asset/liability management, operations, and compliance and risk functions. The role includes directing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning; modernizing financial systems and reporting; and advising executive leadership and the Board on financial performance and strategic decisions. Responsibilities also include overseeing financial reporting, audits, investments, liquidity and interest-rate risk, and pricing strategy. The VP will provide executive oversight of operational performance and compliance, strengthen internal controls and policies, and develop a high-performing leadership team. Candidates should have at least 10 years of progressively responsible financial leadership experience in a credit union, bank, or financial services organization, including oversight of accounting, treasury or asset/liability management, and financial reporting. Experience leading or overseeing operations or compliance is preferred, as is experience building financial infrastructure, systems, or teams. A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required; a CPA, CFA, or MBA is preferred. Strong knowledge of GAAP, NCUA regulations, and financial operations is required, along with proficiency in financial systems, spreadsheets, and modeling tools. Candidates should also demonstrate strategic and analytical ability, sound judgment, clear communication, and a record of developing leaders and managing sensitive information.
