Executive Director of Advancement, Corporate Relations

The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Advancement, Corporate Relations to lead corporate fundraising and guide a team of fundraisers. Responsibilities include cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major corporate prospects; managing a personal portfolio; setting team goals; and coaching staff to achieve fundraising targets. The role also develops strategies for corporate partnerships, coordinates fundraising efforts across institutional teams, and supports faculty in assessing funding opportunities and preparing proposals. The Executive Director monitors fundraising progress, stewards funded projects, and contributes to improving fundraising practices and processes. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and at least eight years of relevant experience. Preferred qualifications include corporate relations or development experience, success securing major corporate gifts and grants, and supervisory experience, particularly managing fundraisers. Strong strategic planning, relationship-building, communication, leadership, and collaboration skills are important, along with the ability to work effectively in a complex environment and engage inclusively with diverse colleagues and constituents. Experience in higher education or a large organization, and a commitment to its mission, are also valued.
