Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) or VP of Engineering to lead its technology organization through a period of growth and transformation. The role will shape technology strategy across a portfolio of SaaS and immersive training products, while overseeing engineering, architecture, infrastructure, DevOps, quality assurance, security, and product delivery. The CTO will improve delivery predictability, platform reliability, scalability, and engineering practices, and align technical priorities with business and customer needs. Responsibilities also include guiding AI strategy and governance, managing budgets and vendors, and building a high-performing engineering team. The role partners with executive and cross-functional leaders to balance innovation, customer requirements, technical debt, and long-term product quality. Candidates should bring senior technology leadership experience and the technical depth to guide architecture, cloud infrastructure, multi-tenant SaaS platforms, integrations, data management, security, and reliability. They should have experience leading engineering teams, developing talent, establishing delivery processes and performance metrics, and making pragmatic modernization and build-versus-buy decisions. The role also requires practical expertise in AI strategy and governance, including privacy, security, evaluation, monitoring, cost controls, and responsible deployment of AI-enabled features. Strong collaboration, communication, coaching, and customer-facing skills are essential, along with the ability to connect technical decisions to business priorities and customer value.
